National Electronics

National Electronics was founded in 1996. The journey started with retailing and distributing Television, Refrigerator, and other electronic goods. Later on in the same year, National Electronics selling mobile accessories. Then in the 1997 the mobile business started, with selling phones through Grameenphone, Aktel, and Sheba telecom. Later on we shifted to selling sims and becoming dealers of almost all the mobile operators. After a long and successful journey, we started our own mobile phone brand called Smart Mobile.

Along with that we have our retail chain that consists of 7 shops, where we retail smartphones and other gadgets.

We are also in the fabric trading industry where we are importing fabric from china and are wholesaling in Dhaka.

We are also in the home appliances business where we cater the needs of clients with bulk orders. We supply Refrigerator, Air Conditioners and washing machines.

About Founders

M. A. Abdul Matin

Proprietor, General Electric. he has been the pioneer of his time. he had started business in 1958, established a school in 1964 and started to import Tv, Fridge, Radio & Other Home Appliances To Bangladesh For The First Time In 1968. He then focused on social welfare and opened a school in his village and gave young entrepreneurs the opportunity to start their own business.

Mugbul Hossain Khan

he had started business in 1962, In 1971 he started with National Electric Company & established a school in 1984. After thriving in the electronics market he entered the garments industry, and started his factory in Rampura, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Later on he decided to handover the business to his sons.

Khan MD Arif Billah

Joined his fathers business in 1996, National Electronics, he started his business with retailing and distributing Television, Refrigerator, and other electronic goods. Later on in the same year, started selling mobile accessories. Then in the 1997 the mobile businesses started, with selling phones through Grameenphone, Aktel, and Sheba telecom. Later he shifted to selling sims and becoming dealers of almost all the mobile operators. After a long and successful journey and after making a name for himself, he started his own mobile phone brand called Smart. Due to some problems he shut down the business and again stated on focusing on phone realing. Now he is working with Xioami, OPPO, VIVO, Nokia, iPhone, Samsung, and Walton.

Baizid Arif Khan

In 2018 he joined his father’s business with the vision of taking his farther’s business to a new height. Before that he was working in a NGO Inspire Bangladesh Initiative and a writing forum ReaVerse. He graduated from North South University after major in Supply Chain Management.

In 2018 he started 360 degree phone and beyond with his father which was the largest mobile shop in Bangladesh with the hope to revolutionise mobile retailing industry, but due to Covid-19 he had to close down the business. Now he is a full timer in his father’s retailing business and
